In my second year at Trevor Browne, 1987-88, all fourteen weight classes qualified for state. We even had one state champion. Unfortunately, after two years there, I was surplused, a common and sad theme in the teaching world. I subsequently transferred to North High. I wanted to continue coaching at Browne, so at the end of each school day, I rushed to make the thirty-minute drive to their wrestling practice.
