Volunteering
After the 2006 season, I decided it was time to retire. It was a difficult decision to leave so many up-and-coming younger wrestlers. Said Martinez, in particular, was an extreme talent. He was one match away from placing in state as a sophomore. Mentally strong, he would go on to place second and then fourth in state his junior and senior years.
