My Relationship with My Sexual Identity
I shared with you my passion for wrestling and how that drove me to pursue a career in teaching and more specifically, as a coach. During this time, I was also searching for meaning in relationships and where I belonged. I was attracted to women, but more so to men. Should I get married and have kids like my Pentecostal and societal upbringing demanded? Or should I be true to myself? What would ultimately lead to the most happiness? What did God want for me? My mind wrestled with these thoughts as I explored various relationships.
